Government Council Meeting Scheduled for Thursday

The Government Council, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, will convene the day after tomorrow, Thursday.

According to a statement from the government presidency, the council will first review two draft decrees. The first concerns maritime investigations into accidents involving fishing vessels, while the second amends the decree implementing the Road Code regarding transactional and fixed fines.

Following this, the council will examine an agreement between Morocco and Malawi on the transfer of convicted persons, signed in Laayoune on July 16, 2024, along with the related draft law approving this agreement.

Finally, the meeting will conclude with the review of proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
