Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher on Friday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened trading on a positive note this Friday, July 25, 2025, continuing its upward momentum for the second consecutive session, supported by strong performances across several leading stocks.
The main index MASI rose by 0.31%, reaching 19,328.46 points, after posting a solid 0.95% gain during Thursday’s session.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the top 20 listed companies, climbed 0.27% to 1,587.75 points, while the MASI.ESG index, reflecting the best-rated sustainable companies, increased by 0.24% to 1,332.5 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, tracking small and mid-cap companies, recorded the strongest gain of the day, jumping 0.68% to 1,835.68 points.
This positive performance reflects a renewed sense of investor confidence, buoyed by stronger sectoral fundamentals and economic stability, especially as the government prepares for the 2026 Finance Law.
