Rabat: Morocco’s Central Bank, Bank of England Discuss Cyber Security
This event is part of the partnership agreement between the two institutions, says BAM in a statement.
The event brought together about 30 senior executives representing about 20 Central Banks from Africa and the Middle East. These experts were able to exchange their experiences and views on Cyber security.
The discussions focused on topics related to the implementation of the cyber security strategy, cyber-protection, cyber-governance and cyber-resilience. They also concerned the application of cybersecurity in the management of information systems, macro prudential supervision and supervision of financial market infrastructures.
In order to perpetuate their partnership in this important field, the participants agreed to set up a virtual exchange network covering all cyber security-related topics.
