Casablanca stock exchange opens session slightly up
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Friday’s slightly up, with its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.51% to 11,333.7 points.
A few minutes after the opening, the MSI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, and the Casablanca ESG 10, rose respectively by 0.55% to 918.76 points and 0.4% to 849.65 points.
On the stock side, Ciments du Maroc recorded the largest increase (+3.59% to MAD 1,385), ahead of Residences Dar Saada (+2.7% to MAD 19), and Maroc Telecom (+2.29% to MAD 111.5).
In contrast, SNEP showed the highest drop (-3% to MAD 630.5), followed by Jet Contractors (-1.96% to MAD 195), and Atlantasanad (-1.54% to MAD 118)
As of yesterday at the closing, the MASI index ended the session down by 0.13%.
