World Cup 2022: King of Jordan « Proud » of Atlas Lions
King Abdullah II of Jordan has expressed his pride in the Atlas Lions’ achievement in the World Cup (Qatar-2022).
« We are proud of the achievement, unprecedented in the Arab world, of the Moroccan national team, » tweeted the Jordanian Sovereign.
« All my congratulations to my dear brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and to the brotherly Moroccan people, » he added, wishing success to the Atlas Lions in the days to come.
Morocco had lost (0-2) against France in the semi-final. The Atlas Lions will face the Croats on Saturday for the third-place play-off.
