HM the King Condoles Family of Late Comedian Abderrahim Tounsi

In this message, the Sovereign said He learned with deep sorrow the sad news of the passing of the late Abderrahim Tounsi, may God accept him in His vast Paradise.

In this painful circumstance, HM the King expresses to the members of the family of the deceased and, through them, to their relatives and to the great artistic family of the late, His deep condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion, following the death of one of the pioneers of theatrical comedy in Morocco, known for his authenticity and creativity.

The Sovereign says He remembers the human qualities and the creative spirit of the late Abderrahim Tounsi through the character of « Abderraouf », which marked the distinguished artistic career of the deceased and earned him the admiration, for decades, of a large audience passionate about his elegant and refined humorous style.

His Majesty implores the Most High to reward the deceased amply for the laudable services rendered to art and to his homeland, to welcome him in His vast Paradise and to grant his relatives patience and comfort.
