Morocco, Estonia set to promote cooperation in tourism sector
The means of promoting cooperation in the sector of tourism between Morocco and Estonia were at the center of a meeting, on Tuesday in Rabat, between Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, and chairman of the Moroccan-Estonian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Raivo Tamm, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom.
During this meeting, both parties highlighted the quality of relations between Morocco and Estonia, stressing the need to further strengthen these ties to promote the economic potential of both friendly countries, especially in tourism.
On this occasion, Ammor said that this meeting allows the identification of new niches of cooperation to strengthen the partnership and bilateral relations in the field of tourism for the common interest of both peoples.
For his part, Tamm welcomed the historical and cultural ties between the two countries, reiterating the willingness of his country to further strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, a neighboring country of the European Union.
He also expressed his interest in enriching collaboration with the Estonian Department of Tourism, noting that Morocco is a preferred tourist destination for Estonian citizens.
