20th anniversary of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, a happy event celebrated with jubilation and joy

This anniversary recalls the memory of the happy moments of Thursday May 8, 2003, when the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced the blessed birth, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, of a boy whom His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, has kindly baptized with the first name of Moulay El Hassan, in homage to the memory of His August grandfather, the late HM King Hassan II, may God rest his soul in His holy mercy.

The celebration of the 20th anniversary of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan thus renews the unchanging attachment of Moroccans to the Glorious Alaouite Throne through the oath of allegiance uniting them to HM the King, Amir Al-Mouminine, defender of the faith and guarantor of the supreme interests of the Nation and of the citizens.

This happy event is also an opportunity to remember some of the main activities of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan who obtained, in July 2020, the baccalaureate « international option », « Economic and social sciences » sector with the mention « Alright ».

On September 18, 2022, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, at the Polo Club Souissi of the Royal Guard in Rabat, the final of the first edition of the Polo Throne Cup.

On October 17 of the same year, His Royal Highness presided over the opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show, held from October 18 to 23 under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

A month later, to the day, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan had inaugurated, at the headquarters of the Organization of the Islamic World for Education, Science and Culture (Icesco) in Rabat, the international exhibition and the Museum of the Sira Annabaouia (life of the Prophet) and of Islamic civilisation, placed under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

On March 28, 2023, the funeral of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives and former First Secretary of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), the late Abdelouahed Radi, took place at the Achouhada cemetery in Rabat, in the presence of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also accompanies HM the King during His various official activities. Thus, over the past twelve months, His Royal Highness has been present alongside the Sovereign, in particular during the audience granted to Mr. Abdellatif Jouahri, Wali Bank Al-Maghrib, who presented to His Majesty the annual report of the Central Bank on the economic, monetary and financial situation for the 2021 financial year.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also accompanied HM the King on the occasion of the commemoration of Eid Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi Acharif, the opening of the 1st session of the 2nd legislative year of the 11th legislature ( October 14, 2022), and the audience granted by the Sovereign to the members of the National Football Team, after their brilliant performance at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

His Royal Highness was also present alongside HM the King on the occasion of several Councils of Ministers and the launch of the national operation « Ramadan 1444 », initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in occasion of the month of Ramadan, as well as during the religious talks that the Sovereign, Amir Al-Mouminine, had presided over on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the religious vigil in commemoration of the blessed Laylat Al-Qadr and the prayer of Eid Al-Fitr.

Each of the public appearances of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan thus comes to perpetuate a long tradition which aims to initiate and familiarize the Crown Prince with the exercise of responsibilities that he will be called upon to assume within a society. which remains attached to its values ​​and its plural identity.
