HM the King Addresses Speech to His Faithful People and Chairs Ceremonies Commemorating Throne Day (Ministry of Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery)
HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, will address a Speech to His faithful people on the occasion of the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, announces the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery.
The Royal Speech will be broadcast on radio and television this Saturday starting from 9:00 pm, the Ministry said in a press release.
The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery added that His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, will preside over a reception on Sunday afternoon at the M’diq-Fnideq prefecture square in the city of M’diq.
His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will chair, on Monday afternoon at the Mechouar Square in the Royal Palace in Tetouan, the oath-taking ceremony before His Majesty of the officers, new graduates of the various military, paramilitary and civil schools and institutes.
On this occasion, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces will offer a luncheon at the Royal Guard officers’ mess in Tetouan, the press release said.
HM the King will also preside over, in the late afternoon of the same day, the allegiance ceremony at the Mechouar Square in the Royal Palace in Tetouan.

« The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that on the occasion of the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, will address a Speech to His faithful people.
The Royal Speech will be broadcast on radio and television this Saturday, July 29, 2023 starting from 9:00 pm.
His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, will also preside over a reception in the afternoon of Sunday July 30, 2023, at the M’diq-Fnideq Prefecture Square in the city of M’diq.
