The talks, held in the presence of Morocco’s ambassador to France, Samira Sitaïl, took place on the occasion of Fettah’s participation in the OECD’s Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) (May 2-3).
During this meeting, the two parties discussed ways of strengthening cooperation and relations between the Kingdom and the international organization as well as Morocco’s presence within the various OECD institutions.
On the sidelines of her participation in the MCM, Fettah also held talks with several ministers and heads of international and regional organizations.
The MCM is, of all OECD events, the one that takes place at the highest level, bringing together ministers of finance, economics, foreign affairs, trade and other ministries from OECD Member and Partner countries as well as representatives of international organizations.
The theme for this year’s MCM is “Leading Global Discussions with Objective and Reliable Approaches towards Sustainable and Inclusive Growth”.
The 2024 MCM, chaired by Japan and vice-chaired by Mexico and the Netherlands, offers Members and non-Members alike the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions on the decisive issues facing the international community today.
