Mina – Several initiatives and techniques to promote green mobility were adopted in terms of transport and logistics dedicated to pilgrims, stated, on Friday in Mina, the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics, Saleh Al-Jasser.
Speaking during a press briefing with a media delegation from Arab and international press agencies, Al-Jasser noted that the different initiatives and techniques adopted have taken into consideration the Saudi Strategy of Transport and Services, mainly concerning environment protection.
In this regard, he recalled the increase in electric buses in Mecca, investments in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles as well as an electric train to transport the faithful to Mina, Aarafat and Mozdalifa.
