Casablanca Stock Exchange: Opening in the Red

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started the week on a negative note Monday, with its main index, the MASI, dropping by 0.3% to 13,327.42 points.

The MASI.20 index, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.47% to 1,074.44 points, while the MASI.ESG, an index for companies with the best ESG ratings published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, decreased by 0.45% to 969.32 points.

Conversely, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index tracking the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, rose by 0.23% to 1,216.27 points.

On Friday, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.54%.
