Today, in a session at the House of Representatives, Aziz Akhannouch emphasized that the government has completed the urban policy project and supported regional development by doubling efforts in rural areas, increasing commitments for rural center development to 36% of the total investments mobilized by the ministry during this term.

He specified that 324 rural communes across the country are targeted to break their isolation and improve access to basic services and mobility for residents.

For urban areas, Akhannouch mentioned a total investment of over 11 billion dirhams aimed at 37 cities to enhance urban planning, increase attractiveness, and integrate under-equipped neighborhoods.

He stressed the need for the collaboration of all concerned parties to structure a clear policy for Moroccan cities, aiming for balanced development and improvement of infrastructure and proximity services.
