Mohamed Chibi suspended for three matches

Mohamed Chibi, as well as several players from the Egyptian championship have been suspended by the Egyptian League. The Atlas Lion received three matches and a fine of 50,000 pounds.
The Egyptian Football League has decided to refer 13 players, managers and administrators of the Al-Ahly and Pyramids clubs, including Moroccan international Mohamed Chibi to the disciplinary committee of the Egyptian Football Federation, following the events that occurred during of the match between the two teams, which took place Monday evening in the Egyptian championship.
“It was decided to suspend Mohamed Chibi, player of the Pyramids team, for three matches and to impose a fine of 50,000 Egyptian pounds on account of his expulsion for violent play and attempted assault on an opponent after his expulsion, as well as his refusal to comply with the referee’s decision, which led to the interruption of the match against Al-Ahly »
“A fine of 25,000 Egyptian pounds was imposed on the Pyramids club due to the collective protests of the technical and administrative staff against the referee’s decisions. In addition, the CEO of Pyramids, Mandoh Eid, as well as Marwan Hamdi, Mohamed Cheibi, Mahmoud Abdel Aaty, Ahmed El-Shenawy, Mahmoud Abdel Hafiz ‘Zelaka’, Karim Hafez, players of Pyramids, and Ahmed Zahir, administrator of the team, were referred to the disciplinary committee to take the appropriate legal measures according to the competence of the committee concerning the excesses which were not mentioned in the match reports but appear in the documents received by the League from from Al-Ahly on this subject »
A fine of 50,000 Egyptian pounds was also imposed on the Al-Ahly club due to insulting chants from supporters, as well as the suspension of 75 spectators from the main stand for two matches.
“The complaint of the Pyramids club against Mohamed El-Garhy and Mohamed Sirag, members of the board of directors of the Al-Ahly club, Dr. Saad Shalabi, executive director of the club, Khaled Abdel Fattah and Imam Ashour, players of Al-Ahly, was transmitted to the commission. The League asks the Disciplinary Committee to quickly investigate and rule on the infractions mentioned, as well as those previously referred to it, to support the success of football competitions and counter any infraction of the rules.
